NEW THINGS TO BAKE FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY!
I’m sharing some of my favorite Baking Items on my Baking page (CLICK HERE). Usually I bake these items during the holidays every year for friends and family! I always have Lots of fun in the kitchen every year with the Grandkids. I started baking cookies and letting them cut out and decorate them since they were very small. It’s always been one of my favorite things to do with them, even though they are now all young adults! I have one grandson in the Navy (Please keep him in your prayers (his name is Gavin), and my granddaughter (Hilary) lives with me and is in college majoring in Musical Theater which she excels in! My youngest grandchild (Riley) is leaving for his first year of college at Western Michigan. He has found a love of Photography and he has actually started a business with his talents and he is already lined up with Western Michigan to take pictures at different events! I’m so proud of all of my Grandchildren (as I’m sure all Grandparents say!). We’ve created many great memories together and I hope this will be something they will pass down to their children and grandchildren. I will continue adding favorite recipes for you to enjoy all year!
FAMILY IS COMMUNITY!
Take time to remember during this 2026 Year to always be thankful for your Family! You will never regret the time you spend with your parents, children, cousins, etc. Our families are the first Communities we belong to. We form tight bonds within our Family Community and if possible, Maintain your Family Connections or Start New Ones! Once they are gone, those memories will sustain you. I know this because I lost both of my parents over the past 10 years, and I miss them so much every day. But the memories of the times we shared are so comforting. Also, if you are a family with the means to support other children, then think about becoming a Foster Family! Even adopting because there are so many children out there without a family, and they are searching for somebody to love and accept them.
